The registration system and process for the IASDR 2023 congress is now closed.

You can find all categories of the registration fees below. Prices are in Euro and include VAT. Please note that an additional fee applies for the congress’ Social Dinner.

In-person registration fees for the congress include admission to all paper sessions, panels, and keynote events; lunch and coffee breaks; Open Access and publication fees (where applicable).

Online registration fees for the congress include admission to the streaming of all scientific sessions, panels, and keynote events; Open Access and publication fees (where applicable).

To determine your registration fees, please consider the following groups:

• Group 01 – Politecnico di Milano research staff and members of the following associations: Chinese Institute of Design (CID), Design Research Society (DRS), Japanese Society for the Science of Design (JSSD), Korean Society for Design Science (KSDS).
• Group 02 – Participants without any affiliations to the organizations mentioned in group 01.

Student registration is for bachelor, master’s, and PhD students.

To provide greater opportunities for participants to present at the congress, each accepted paper and abstract with multiple co-authors should have a different conference registrant. However, co-authors may appear on multiple papers.

For approved workshop and panel proposals, all authors must register for the congress by September 3rd and conduct their session as scheduled in the program. For the rest of the submissions, the presenter of the submission (or one of the authors) should register to the congress no later than September 15th.

• Congress registrations canceled on or before August 4th, 2023 are refundable but subject to a 50€ administrative fee for processing costs.
• Congress registrations canceled between August 5th, 2023 and September 5th, 2023 are eligible for a 30% refund of the registration fees paid.
• Congress registrations canceled on or after September 6th, 2023 are no longer eligible for a refund.

Please note that substituting the person who can use the registration is possible at any moment prior to the congress without charge (for example, if you cannot attend and another co-author has to take your place). All cancellations and/or changes to the registration information must be received in writing – by email to the congress email. Refunds will be provided by wire transfer. There will be no refunds granted for registrants who do not meet the conditions outlined above. Delegates who do not attend meals, receptions, or coffee breaks included in the registration fee will not receive a refund equivalent to the cost of the meal. There will be no refunds on the Social Dinner or other special event tickets. Please note that one single registrant can acquire more than one Social Dinner ticket.

The ticket purchasing and payment process are handled by POLI.design. In the event the congress must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, POLI.design will refund the cost of registration.
